The color swatches also add to the effect. Their size makes them look almost natural (or as natural as winged Sims are) in-game. Much smaller than the Angel/Celestial wings and the Infernal/Batlike wings.
These Glass Wings by Esmeralda can look like either tiny butterfly wings or delicate faerie flappers, depending on the design you pick. This is hands-down the most diverse and wing set on the entire list – in terms of colors, anyway. Other than that, the texture for both wings is pretty much the same. I will say that the wings look more “Gargoyle” than “Demon” when they’re closed. Maybe your Sim prefers something more compact – with some pretty fantastic border decorations to boot. Maybe the Ela wings were too big for you.
